In the spring of 1971, while studying in a school library, Greg Cherico picked up a copy of the current "Life" magazine. On the cover was Tricia Nixon in her wedding gown, and from that moment, the Erie native knew he wanted to pursue a fashion career; the bridal industry had become his calling.

Shortly after finishing his education, Greg pursued a working relationship with Priscilla Kidder, the owner and founder of Priscilla of Boston, the finest bridal house in American history. Kidder, who dressed the bridesmaids of Princess Grace as well as White House brides in two different administrations, took Greg under her wing and gave him the training and knowledge in all aspects of fine bridal couture.

After many years in Boca Raton, Florida, Greg moved to Mt. Lebanon, where he has shared his exquisite sense of fashion and expertise with thousands of grateful brides and their families at his signature salon since 1998.

In May of 2010 in order to expand the business and offer a larger selection of gowns and formal wear Greg moved to his new location in Dormont. The classic style, architecture and expanded space drove him to the former Dormont Boro Building.
